Masha's Jewish Art

Mixed technique paintings by Masha Orlovich, a talented painter from Safed. Jewish art at its best!

Masha Orlovich was born in Leningrad (St. Petersburg) in 1960. At the age of five she began to to paint. Her talents were soon recognized as one with future potential. Giving her further encouragement the authorities awarded her in 1965 a place at the famous Children Academy of the "Hermitage" state museum. In 1976 she continued her studies at the Leningrad City Art School. Finally in 1981, after further study at the Serov College Of Fine Art, she was awarded her artists diploma. In 1990 Masha immigrated to Israel and settled down in Safed.

Masha Jewish art works are made in different techniques: drawing, watercolor, mixed technique which include elements of encaustic (hot wax paint). She works in genres of urban landscape (mainly), still life, nudes and Inter Ganers compositions.
In 2000 Masha became a member of the Israel painters and Sculptors Association. Masha's reputation is growing and her work is being sought by collectors in Israel, Europe and USA.
